Creme d'Argents are known for their distinctive silvered creme coat, calm temperament, and strong utility as an all-around rabbit. Because breed numbers remain limited, our program emphasizes careful selection and responsible placement.
Program Standards
Before a rabbit is listed as a breeder candidate, it must meet our evaluation and documentation standards.
- We run a 99-cage, single-breed program focused on Creme d'Argents.
- All breeder candidates are pedigreed and trace to stock from ARBA member lines.
- Only about 5%-10% of rabbits born are selected as breeder prospects.
- Not every litter produces a breeder-quality release.
- Breeders are generally offered at 4+ months so they can be evaluated against the ARBA Standard of Perfection.
Breed and standards references: American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and National Creme d'Argent Federation.
Pricing and Placement
Pricing reflects evaluation status, production record, and documentation level.
Individual Prices:
- $25 - 4-H Rabbits
- 4-H rabbits do not come with a pedigree.
Proven Breeders:
- $300 - Individual
- $750 - Trio
Proven = established production record.
Unproven Breeders:
- $100 - Individual
- $250 - Trio
Unproven = breeding-age, not yet proven by offspring record.
Limited Availability
Breeder candidates are released in small batches as they complete evaluation. Because selection is strict, wait times are normal.
